Blue Wildebeest, harvested in August, 2002 in South Africa - again, using my CW Bow. Our trip had much excitement and each animal is so unique! I found myself face to face (ok maybe 5 feet) with giraffe and rhinos. The people and the culture were a shock to me at first, but then it left me feeling like it was where I truly belonged and had just come home for the first time. I didn't recognize this, until after I got home and discovered my heart remained in Africa! |

Impala, harvested in August 2002 in South Africa. I was using a Clearwater Compound Bow, set at 52 lbs. I spent 2 wonderful weeks in South Africa and am still in awe of the whole trip. I count the days until I can go back. My husband and I plan a return trip in 2005. I would move there if I could only convince my husband to come with me. |

I took this kudu June 1, 2005 while on safari in the Limpopo Province of South Africa useing my new Parker Micro-Phoenix bow, Carbon Supreme arrows and Simmons broadheads. He went less than 75 yards. The bull sported 53 1/2 inch horns and weighed around 800 lbs.

By special permit of the Governor of Conservation in the Limpopo Province I was given authorization to hunt what is termed LARGE-THICK Skinned Game. To acquire this permit requires a case by case consideration/application. The hunt went very successfully and every scrap of the 5-6 ton bull was immediately butchered for human consumption. Thanks to my Parker Micro-Phoenix, Carbon Supreme Arrows and simmons Broadheads.
