I have only been hunting for two years, but like many of the women that you will find here I have always had a passion for the natural world. I believe that we are only caretakers of the earth and not owners. I support wildlife and habitat conservation efforts as well as education for non-hunters.

I have wanted to be an archery hunter for as long as I can remember. I used to drive my mother crazy by stealing her kitchen knives to carve homemade bows and arrows out of the trees in our backyard! I finally bought a bow when I was eighteen and archery has been an addiction ever since. Two years ago my husband and I worked up the courage to try hunting. It hasn't been easy learning on our own, but the exhilaration of being out there and trying to fit into a world that most people have forgotten keeps us coming back for more.

I hope that our daughter will grow up closer to us as a result of hunting and spending time in the outdoors. Although I was already sixteen when my stepfather came into my life he made the effort to take me fishing. It gave us the opportunity to talk without all of the pressures and distractions. It made a big difference in my life. If I can be of help to anyone out there please do not hesitate to contact me.
