My name is Terri Marinier and I (with my helper husband, Ray, and my dogs) spend most of my time traveling around the U.S. giving seminars on how to train hunting dogs: pointers, flushers or retrievers. I am blessed with some wonderful sponsors: Innotek Sporting Dogs, Royal Canin' Dog Food, Dokkens Dead Fowl, and Mendota Leashes and Leads, and I am on the advisory staff for Realtree.

I have titled dogs in obedience, conformation, agility, Schutzhund, tracking, and racing. I have obtained many High in Trials, Breed Ring Champions, have three dogs in the Hall of Fame, and have put many titles on dogs of different breeds. I have run dogs in Field Trials, Hunt Tests, and NSTRA Trials and spend most of the fall hunting my dogs. My passion is to be in the field or on the water with a fine hunting dog. With the help of my husband, Ray, we operate Camp Marinier, a training camp for dogs, located about an hour north of Springfield, Mo.

To date I have three videos available at most fine hunting stores: Terri's Training Secrets for Pointing Dogs, Terri's Training Secrets for Waterfowl and Flushing Dogs and Starting Right with a Remote Training Collar.

I am very happy to have been added to the list of writers for the Women Hunters Website and hope to hear from anyone having a question or problem with his or her dog. My seminars are titled "The Total Dog" because I cover basic dog training and behavior but focus on hunting dogs.
