I am a woman hunter but I am also a wife and mother. I am married to a wonderful man named Randy, who is my inspiration for my desire to become a skilled hunter. As a mother of 2 boys, Nathan 15 and Corey 11, it is always important for me to be included in their lives and by being a women hunter I can stay involved and not miss any of their accomplishments but also be sympathic of their disappointments. I am a competitor, and as the boys have grown from children to young men I hope that they have learned many good qualities from their mother, whether they are learning hunting skills with me or just walking down to the creek to skip rocks on the water. I have come to the understanding that learning to hunt doesn't come just from being in the field, it is a way of life, passed on from generation to generation.
